Omar Patterson is known as Omally. The young painter from Yemassee, SC, works in oil, acrylic and graphic design. He has 10 years of experience painting and attended the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB). While attending, he won the USCB 16th Annual Student Art Exhibition, receiving the prestigious chancellor’s award for his recreation of Asher Durand’s “Black Mountain from the Harbor Islands.”
